about

As part of my concept album, this track is to be sequenced between "I'm All Out of Ideas" and "Maths is Worse than Trump!"
The lyrics act as a metaphor for disconnection, which is a recurring theme. I'm attempting to convey that few, if any, people reply to my songs/forum posts. The lyrics name check users Riverbear14, metalfoot, Rhodyn and Acousticmaddie.
This is a short song, with arrangement for solo bass guitar and voice. The bass acts as a harmony for the vocal melody. The track ends with a Shepard tone downloaded from freesound.org, which ends abruptly.
The recording is treated with echo.

lyrics

In this dead resort town, there's nothing to keep
For miles and miles, not a soul is near
I've noticed the admin has fallen asleep
Seems quiet in here

Gordon, Alex, Jaedyn and Maddie
What happened to all your energy?
I'm sure that you'll sometime reappear
But for now it seems quiet in here
Seems quiet in here
