This was written during February Album Writing Month 2018.
I plan to use this for my work-in-progress album "The 'Pop' Album", where the goal is to have 10-11 songs but have other vocalists sing on them instead of me.
This was recorded at the UpBeat music program (Visy Cares Hub) with my vocal mentor SKYE (Nicolas Duquemin) performing lead and backing vocals.
On the recording, I play piano, bass guitar and nylon-string guitar. Tom Mansfield (of the band 30/70 Collective) plays electric guitar, while Bill Black (keyboardist in Slim Jeffries) plays drums and Jarrod Chase (keyboardist in 30/70 Collective) plays drum machine in the right channel.
The song was influenced by the music of the Beatles.
