This is a heavier version of my song "Leave Me Alone", which was done on Soundtrap for the purposes of my uni major studio project/concept album. (The original piano/vocal demo is from February 2019.)

I recorded the instruments using MIDI, and the vocals on my Android phone. My friend Aidan Lewis recorded his drums part and sent it to me, not being a member of the Soundtrap project.

My intention for the track was to have a female vocalist (since the track follows "Obsession" on the album and is meant to switch perspectives from that song). However, there was a shortage of vocalists available so I decided to record the vocals myself. I duplicated the vocal and had one track going in the left channel and the other in the right, and delayed one vocal track by a few milliseconds to make the vocal sound 'fatter' - my attempt at ADT (artificial double tracking).

In terms of coming up with the arrangement, I probably had Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" in my mind due to the muted/distorted guitars.
