As part of my concept album, this song is sequenced between "That Piano" and "First Day of August". I let the song end abruptly because it segues into "First Day of August".
My vocals are Auto-Tuned using the GSnap feature on Mixcraft 6, because I had a bad cold. Plus, I didn't care whether I sang in tune or not because I was determined to post this song on the website on literally "the last day of July".

Blue and cloudless in the sky
To the beat of the drum
There's something I shall overcome

The sickness starts to surround me
I'm quite ill, so please leave me
My unwillingness is my undoing
I've got some more pieces to be viewing

They've detected my illness, so I'll stay home
I wouldn't want others to catch my syndrome
It's rather dark and I don't like the situation
Goddammit, I must need some recuperation

Coughing and sneezing, I hate the strain
To hide from the rest, I must refrain
