I play drums on the recording. At the end I am clearly heard saying "That kinda sounds like Jandek during his electric period!" where the piece gets its namesake. If you listen to his albums such as "Telegraph Melts" or "The Rocks Crumble" or even his piece "The Electric End" they are quite similar to this.
The bass guitar is filtered through an octave pedal setting on the Roland bass amp.
