about
This song was written as part of a concept album about communication and friendship, which is still a work in progress.
This is a live recording done at Kindred Studios as part of my solo performance assessment on the 31st of October 2019. This was recorded on my friend Arif Direncer's phone.
lyrics
Watching the world go by
Drifting past in a blur
Well, I wanna talk to you
And see things from your point of view
Watching the world go by
Drifting past in a blur
Well, I wanna talk to you
And see things from your point of view
So come on now, talk to me
Communication is all I need
Ooh, would you talk to me?
Would you talk to me?
It's nothing but hesitation
The nerves are driving me mad
And when I gain the courage to speak to you
Oh, it really ain't so bad
So come on now, talk to me
Communication is all I need
Ooh, would you talk to me?
Would you talk to me?
Then you respond with a smile
And those strange feelings slip away
Well I'm full of joy, for a while
Oh, you make me feel so good in so many ways
So come on now, talk to me
Communication is all I need
Ooh, would you talk to me?
Would you talk to me?
